East Fremantle Joins WA Wheelchair League for 2024 Season

The WA All Abilities Association is excited to announce that East Fremantle Football Club will be joining the 2024 Wheelchair League.

With East Fremantle's inclusion, the league will now feature six teams, joining existing teams - East Perth, Subiaco, Swan Districts, Perth and West Coast Eagles.

The new season is set to kick off on September 29th, marking a significant milestone for the league.

East Fremantle CEO Addy Wetzler shared his enthusiasm about the club’s new role.

“East Fremantle Football Club are thrilled to join the WA Wheelchair Football League, reflecting our commitment to inclusion and diversity,” Wetzler said.

“Footy is truly a sport for everyone, and we look forward to providing a pathway for young wheelchair athletes to realise their potential through our great game.”
