As part of the lead into the Fremantle Football clubs Purple Hands round, WA football will unite to cross Matagarup Bridge – Hand in Hand to highlight disability inclusion. Representatives from Government, community, and all people passionate about disability inclusion are invited to join players and families from Starkick community clubs, Perth Football League Integrated teams and the Fremantle Football club as we unite hand in hand in what will be a historic event.

For the first time ever, all players participating in the half time games, will be children living with disability. 88 children from 19 Starkick centres across Perth will take to the field at Optus stadium, cheered on by 50,000 fans while playing the game they love.

Together we can raise awareness and understanding that fosters lasting change.

Why you should get involved | The Hand In Hand Crossing for Inclusion is raising awareness for disability inclusion, not only in football, but across our entire community.  Held over the picturesque Matagarup Bridge, it’s more than just a crossing. It's a powerful statement that in football, everyone is welcome.

The event run by WA All Abilities Football and Starkick is supported by the WAFC, Telethon, the Fremantle Football club and Purple Hands Foundation. It aims to highlight our shared vision and ongoing commitment to ensure our game is accessible and enjoyable for everyone. -  If you want to play, we’ll find a way!
