School Come & Try Days

The WA All Abilities Football Association has 4-week subsidised program that runs in support units of mainstream schools or Ed Support schools as an introduction to AFL for students and teachers. The purpose is to develop the right program (games and coaching methods) to be delivered into more schools in the future.

Target market are boys and girls with an intellectual disability, but not limited to.

• Age group 9-16 but not limited to.

• Modified rules encourages all ages participation.

• The program doesn’t turn anyone away and strongly encourages people enquiring and asking questions.

We work with schools to arrange the ideal time with sessions running for around 60 minutes, once per week over a four week period.
