APM Becomes Naming Rights Partner for WA AFL All Abilities State Teams
APM is proud to partner with the Western Australian All Abilities Football Association (WAAAFA) as the naming rights partner of the WAAAFA State Teams. This includes naming rights for both the WA AFL Inclusion State Team and the WA Wheelchair State Team.
These teams will compete in this years national event, the AFL Open, starting 21st November in Queensland.
“APM's partnership has helped elevate the opportunities for players as they advance in their football journey,” said Hayden Marchetto, Executive Officer at WAAAFA.
“These AFL-sanctioned competitions provide an inclusive environment for people with disabilities, offering both high-level sport and a strong sense of community.”
Group CEO Michael Anghie added, “Our support for WAAAFA teams enables their participation in national competitions, where they can showcase the exceptional talent of footballers with intellectual disabilities. The WAAAFA programs not only provide sporting opportunities but also promote greater disability acceptance, understanding, and inclusion within WAFL and AFL Clubs."
